About Us

Before founding Æp, Jean-Noël was Chief Financial Officer of LJR Holdings, Inc., a P&C insurance services holding company with Third Party Claims Administrator (TPA) and Managed Care/Cost Containment subsidiaries operating in Western United States & Hawaii. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Finance for Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc., the risk management unit of U.S. insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.

Jean-Noël is co-founder of MonieSecured, Inc. (fka Gnosis Secured, Inc.), a FinTech/InsurTech start-up created by P&C Insurance Executives to modernize the Loss Payment process, starting with workers’ compensation payments. From his experience and specialized knowledge of workers’ compensation and the Property & Casualty industry as a whole, Jean-Noël knows Gnosis is the long over-due solution the industry needs.

He also worked as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for Cambridge Integrated Services Group, Inc., the U.S. risk management subsidiary of London-based Xchanging, plc., and started his insurance career at CNA, working his way up to Financial Analysis Director supporting its Small Commercial business unit.

Jean-Noël began his career as an investment banker, focusing on buy- and sell-side mergers & acquisitions for middle market companies throughout North America. He received his MBA from Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and has a BS in Commerce from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
